4-H Rocketry
Olympic Peninsula Rocketry Club (OPROC)

John Ludwig leads OPROC , a 4-H club devoted to rocketry.  He is enthusiastic about rocketry and eager to share it with Jefferson County youth.  He is eager to accept new members!

OPROC meets at the Irondale Educational Annex adjacent to the Irondale Church.

All youth in grades 6-12 are welcome to join. For more information please call John Ludwig at 385-0341 after 4:30 pm.

Paper rocket qubits are made of a two and a half inch square cube that goes straight up and down with a free fall recovery system. They cost 25 cents or less to make.

Interview with Astronaut Mike Mullane


Colonel Mullane was born September 10, 1945 in Wichita Falls, Texas but spent much of his youth in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he currently resides. Upon his graduation from West Point in 1967, he was commissioned in the United States Air Force.
